The elevation ring is numbered 1-8 (100-800 meters), and it has the late pattern integral, long rain shield on the front end. The left side of the base of the elevation dial is marked "52049", and the right side is marked "AJACK 4X90". As noted, this sniper rifle is currently fitted with an all blued "Ajack" marked sniper scope with standard turret rings with the front ring numbered "642". The right side of the buttstock and pistol grip area is stamped with a faint "Eagle/WaA135" Waffenamt proofmark. Can be installed on all large ring receiver Mauser rifles such as K98s, M98s and Yugo M48s. High quality reproduction of a rare German WWII short side rail sniper mount. The left rear scope base is stamped with a single "Eagle/135" proof. The left side of the receiver has a single "Eagle/135" acceptance proof, and left side of both the receiver and barrel have a large a single "Eagle". The low turret mount was preferred over the high turret mount and this reproduction with split rings, makes installation of any scope much easier than having to take the scope apart, in order to silver solder the scope tube to the rings.
